Colonel’s Brightland Public School is an English medium co-educational, day school, affiliated to CBSE, Delhi (Affiliation No. 2130861), running classes from Nursery to XII. The school is situated on a campus of about 3.5 acres. It has about 1,10,000 sqft constructed area which is divided into three blocks. The exposed- bricks building with sloping roof lends it an old world charm.
In step with changing times the school aims at developing overall personality of a child by laying stress on physical, intellectual, emotional, aesthetic and social aspects of growing up. Active and interactive classroom training will encourage and enable a child to learn informally and in a stress-free environment, which would discourage rote learning. Mrs. Dipika Tyagi a linguist and an educationist, Colonel Apurva Tyagi, a serving army officer from the Parachute Regiment (Special Forces), Dr. Mukul Pandya, a linguist , a naturalist and a name to reckon with in the tourism industry , felt the scarcity of really good educational institutions in Agra & its neighboring regions & decided to address this problem. Their yeoman’s efforts led to the birth of Colonel’s Brightland Public School which was conceived as an institution not only to provide good education but also to impart moral values, self discipline & wisdom along with co-curricular activities to ensure overall development of the child. The schools objective is to create a conducive environment where the process of learning is an enjoyable experience by providing not just pedantic learning but a genuine and holistic education in a stress-free environment.
